Tape-in hair extensions feature a unique polyurethane adhesive tape that took over three years to develop and perfect. This adhesive ensures the most secure attachment while allowing for easy removal and reapplication.
The application process involves removing the backing from the single-sided polyurethane tape and attaching the weft to the hair. The hair is then lifted upward, and a second weft is applied to the opposite side of the tape, creating a “sandwich” with the hair in between. For clients with very fine hair, particularly around the temples or sides, single-sided tape may be used with a single panel for optimal results.
