Tapes — tape-in hair extensions from ISLA Hair. Tape-in hair extensions feature a unique polyurethane adhesive tape that took over three years to develop and perfect.

This adhesive ensures the most secure attachment while allowing for easy removal and reapplication. The application process involves removing the backing from the single-sided polyurethane tape and attaching the weft to the hair. The hair is then lifted upward, and a second weft is applied to the opposite side of the tape, creating a “sandwich” with the hair in between.

Tape-ins are the quickest install in the extension toolkit and the most forgiving for clients who want length without committing to a full sew-in row. They sit flat, they are reusable through several move-ups, and they suit fine to medium hair.
